Wednesday was Ry and Kia's first full day of school at Argyll this year. For those not familiar with the system, this means that while we continue to homeschool, one day a week the kids take supplementary classes with other homeschoolers at the Centre. There are three divisions; grades 1-3, 4-6 and 7-9. At about 20 kids per division, the population is similar to what my rural junior high school was.
Ry and Kia are in different divisions, but they both have Literacy, gym and art class. Ry is also taking a Scratch course as an introduction to computer programming.
After I drop them off at 9:30, Rz has swimming lessons at 10 a.m., so there's no lingering. Then he and I have until 3:30 p.m. to hang out, just the two of us. He really misses his siblings, and when I told him it was 3:30, he couldn't wait any longer, and stampeded into Ry's classroom to see what was taking so long!
