We haven't put anything back up on our walls since painting yet. Searching for the perfect artwork, and fine tuning our color palette have left us a little indecisive.
Then the other day the kids and I were playing with our newly organized craft supplies and I had a burst of crafty energy. I had saved an old bulletin board from the Reuse Center and wasn't sure what to do with it.
So I painted the frame white and sanded it lightly for a slightly distressed look. Then cut a rectangle of linen-y fabric (also from Reuse Center) to size and hot glued it in place. Then an edging of ric rac (sp?) also hot glued. All done! Now hanging in our kitchen eating area with our theocratic calendar for easy reference.
