Yogurt From Scratch

We were making our own yogurt Sunday morning for the first time in forever, and needed a thermometer. We have a meat thermometer from a garage sale but it kept falling into the milk pot.  Checked amazon for yogurt thermometers but they are $15 and several shipping days away.  So I asked my clever son to invent me some sort of clip to stabilize the thermometer. 

Recognize his solution?  I'm so impressed!
