After a brisk walk in the last of the fallen leaves at the dog park, my kids were hankering for a treat from Tim Horton's across the road. I put them off with promises of homemade treats. (Bought donuts or cookies taste so yummy, but we all feel a little queasy after the fact.)
So we came home and made a batch of:
