End of Summer Cleanup

Because the nights are cold and the frost has come already, the growing season has concluded.  What a tangled mess!

Kale, cut and waiting in ice water til I can blanch and freeze it.

Ry's copper wire spider web.

Enough beets to make pickled beets and borsch.

Rz says: "Worms my fwends!"

Work in progress...lots of compost fodder!

Saving the dried dill heads for next year's seed.

Delicious (though not prolific) banana potatoes, and the occasional volunteered red spud too!

The sunflowers were small this year.  Just enough to feed the birds.

Plotting out next year's garden plan.

A project for another day - redesigning my flower beds.
